ESP and Job Market : Reality and Quality Requirements
The
3rd ESP Conference will be held in 1.
To
share ideas and information about present and future trends in ESP; 2.
To
bring together ESP professionals to debate and reflect on issues related to ESP
and job market 3.
To
identify constraints against better quality teaching in ESP; 4.
To
think of ways to bridge the gap between ESP teachers and learners on the one
hand and the requirement of the job market on the other. 5.
To
analyse the relationship between ESP teaching materials and the job market so as
to come up with recommendations towards its improvement;
Specialists,
teachers, teacher trainers and business English textbook writers are invited to
submit abstracts on the following topics reflecting the theme of the conference. 1.
ESP goals and aims versus market needs 2.
ESP students’ and
teachers’ needs analysis 3.
Quality ESP teaching and
learning strategies for the job market 4.
Capacity building for ESP teachers 5.
ESP teaching materials development and evaluation 6.
Assessment of students performances in ESP settings The conference programme will
feature a keynote speech (45 mins), presentations (20 mins each), workshops (1 h

non-Moroccan residents: $120 (including full board, lodging and
conference fees) NB:
Board and lodging include: 2 nights, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches & 1 dinner. Information about the hotel and

Interested
institutions and publishing companies are cordially invited to participate in
the book exhibition. An excursion will be porganised on
Feb. 24 to one of the nearest tourist sites. The exact time will be announced on
the final version of the programme. Interested presenters are invited
